Zaphir Catalog - Enamel (Gres) Figurines"Enamel" was the name given in the Zaphir collection to a kind of hybrid porcelain formula that combined matte and enamel-painted surfaces; it is strongly reminiscent of the Gres formula in other Lladró brands except that the porcelain slip used in Zaphir enamels was usually much lighter in color than the terra-pigmented porcelain body normally associated with Gres. Readers will note some duplication of listings as some models can be assigned to more than one category. |
